Today, we welcome Geetha Somayajula, an arts administrator, singer, conductor, and teacher based in Portland, Oregon. A graduate of the University of Southern California with degrees in choral music and business administration, she has performed with ensembles such as the Oregon Bach Festival Youth Chorus and the USC Chamber Singers. A 2018–19 U.S. Fulbright Scholar, Geetha studied the practice and pedagogy of Indian classical music and now serves as a Fulbright Alumni Ambassador. She sits on the boards of Synchromy Music in Los Angeles and the Pacific Youth Choir in Portland, and works professionally as a strategist at PricewaterhouseCoopers, advising Fortune 500 clients on digital innovation.
